We emphasize thorough experimental reporting to ensure that results are reproducible and transparent. There are no length restrictions on submissions, allowing for detailed and complete presentations of research.
Review Policy
Peer Review Process
- Rigorous Evaluation: All submissions undergo a stringent peer-review process by experts recommended by our editorial board.
- No Simultaneous Submissions: Manuscripts must not be under consideration by other journals simultaneously.
- Confidentiality and Integrity: All manuscripts are treated confidentially, and reviewers and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Decision Making: Editors-in-Chief make final decisions based on referee reports. Rejected authors are promptly informed.
- Transparency: The peer review process aims to be transparent and fair, ensuring high-quality publications.
Publication Procedure
Initial Checks
- Compliance Verification: Submissions are initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief for compliance with author guidelines and ethical policies.
- Scope Assessment: Manuscripts are assessed for alignment with the journal's scope in consultation with the editorial board.
Peer Review
- Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts that pass initial checks are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
- Scientific Soundness: Reviewers evaluate the scientific validity, relevance, and originality of the manuscript.
Editorial Decision and Revision
- Feedback and Revisions: Accepted manuscripts may require minor or major revisions. Authors receive detailed feedback and are expected to respond point-by-point.
- Decision Categories: Decisions include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, rejection with resubmission encouragement, or outright rejection.
Author Appeals
- Appeal Process: Authors can appeal rejection decisions by providing detailed justifications and responses to reviewer comments. Appeals are reviewed by the Editorial Board.

Editors

Authors submitting to AJLS. certifies the originality of their work and grant the journal the right to publish under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. Data included in accepted articles is made available under the Creative Commons 1.0 Public Domain Dedication waiver unless stated otherwise.
Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism, in any form, is considered scientific misconduct. Cases of plagiarism, whether direct or mosaic, are addressed by informing the respective editors and publishers. Our policy emphasizes the importance of reporting plagiarism, providing evidence, and conducting disciplinary meetings if necessary.

- Ethical Framework: Researchers must conduct studies within an appropriate ethical framework. AJLS. may reject manuscripts or contact authors' institutions or ethics committees if ethical concerns arise.

- Ethical Compliance: Research involving human subjects must adhere to the Declaration of Helsinki and receive ethics committee approval. Informed consent for publication of details, images, or videos must be obtained and specified in the manuscript.
Conflict of Interest
- Disclosure: Authors must disclose all sources of financial support and any potential conflicts of interest. Ethical advertising practices are emphasized, and certain types of advertisements are prohibited.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
- The publication of papers in the Atlantic Journal of Life Sciences is free of cost and does not charge authors any fee for submitting and publishing their manuscripts. We believe in open access to research, providing all published content to the global scientific community without financial barrier
